Weight Management
Personalized Treatment. More Options. Ongoing Clinical Oversight.
Weight-loss treatment is not one-size-fits-all. At Amplify Clinic, every patient begins with an individualized medical evaluation. Based on your health history, weight-loss goals, preferences, medication eligibility, tolerability, and other clinical factors, we create a personalized treatment plan — and stay with you through ongoing follow-up and support.
You have options. We help determine which one makes sense for you.
Weight Loss Treatment Options
We offer both injectable and oral prescription medications as part of our weight management program, with ongoing clinical oversight. Your provider will help determine which option, if any, is appropriate for you.
Zepbound®
Prescription injectable treatment for chronic weight management in eligible adults. Tirzepatide acts on both GLP-1 and GIP hormone pathways.
Wegovy® Injection
Prescription GLP-1 treatment for chronic weight management in eligible patients.
Wegovy® Pill
An oral GLP-1 option for appropriate adults who prefer a daily pill to a weekly injection. Taken each morning on an empty stomach.
Foundayo™
An FDA-approved oral GLP-1 option for chronic weight management in eligible adults. Can be taken any time of day, with or without food.
Each of these medications is FDA-approved for long-term weight management in eligible patients, used together with a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity. Current self-pay pricing for each is linked in the pricing details below.
How GLP-1 Weight Loss Medications Work
GLP-1 medications mimic a natural hormone that helps regulate appetite and blood sugar. They act on areas of the brain that control hunger, helping you feel fuller for longer, and slow how quickly your stomach empties, making it easier to eat less. Tirzepatide (Zepbound®) also acts on a second hormone pathway, GIP.
Depending on the medication, treatment is taken as a once-weekly injection or a once-daily pill. Your dose is started low and adjusted gradually by your provider based on your goals, response, and tolerance.
